New Trolley in Saugeen Shores

Saugeen Shores has a new way to share its attractions, history, waterways and downtowns with a recently-acquired mode of transportation.

During July and August, visitors and locals alike can travel between the two communities of Port Elgin and Southampton seven days a week from 11 am to 7 pm.  GPS allows the public to track its progress as it travels its route.

Cost to ride the trolley is $1 per person, with passengers able to board at several designated and signed stops.

RTO7's Kim Clarke worked with a group of community partners on this project through RTO7's Experience Implementation Program.
